The Center for Interdisciplinary Statistical Education and Research (CISER) is a group that works with those interested in promoting quality statistical research. CISER seeks to recruit new undergraduates to participate.

CISER, for example, helps WSU colleges (and the broader community) by offering “engaged learning” hours to improve general understanding of statistical methods and techniques by working closely with a statistician on problems related to research, and to improve the quality of statistical analyses in WSU proposals, projects, and papers. CISER provides for the greater community independent and joint data analysis, algorithm development for continuous results, design of interactive visual mapping and analysis, and many more dynamic resources upon request.
