Shelley Pressley, director of the WSU Office of Undergraduate Research, will share methods and best practices for incorporating undergraduates into in faculty research. Is the faculty member interested in working with undergraduates to advance research and scholarly activities? This session will cover topics related to undergraduate research including how to effectively mentor students, efficiently manage their time, and where to find support for students that are engaged in research programs. Hear about models that faculty across the campus have used to grow their research, as well as provide hands-on opportunities for students.
